New HEATFED member – Heating Engineers & Allied Trades Federation

HEATFED was founded by Alan Black, Glen Rae and Neil Rose; all of whom have previous associations with OFTEC. The organisation and Heatfed members are causing a bit of a stir in the industry, a “not for profit” organisation that’s clearly independent and free of political or commercial influence. They have already successfully secured the rights of engineers to make “formal” complaints against the competent person’s scheme provider where they are registered. Prior to this, a CCSP could simply ignore complaints from their members!
The cost of becoming a Heatfed member is very reasonable, giving you the benefit of having independent advice and guidance from an experienced team well voiced in the heating industry.
